Family Album

 

is my children’s storybook. The story is about two families of monsters, who bear the characteristics of the environments they live in. Their offspring has inherited a ridiculous combination of all their qualities. He is a mixture of a forest and an aquatic creature. I tell their story by portraying each one of them. The body of the book is made in the shape of leporello folding. On each segment there is a portrait of a family member. The drawings are static and resemble photo portraits. I was inspired by my passion for drawing mythological creatures.

In addition to the book I made A Gift Set. Both the book and the present have special boxes.
